We got the glow!
After work last night, we participated in a 5K community GLOW walk.
400 people -
with glow sticks, flashing bandanas,
neon T-shirts
and determination.
When you're on a Mission trip,
you can get so caught up in the 'tasks' -
the painting, the hammering, the nail counts etc -
that it's easy to forget you're in a community;
a community where people are raising children,
trying to get and stay healthy,
working, living their lives.
The evening was a perfect reminder
that this is exactly where we're lucky enough to find ourselves now.

A great way to end the day!
Glow on!
