I can't honestly say that rap is my favorite genre (ok...not even in the top 5...), but I do think it's an important vehicle to hear what youth are saying.

He recently won first place in his division of Fancy Dancing at Founders Day Wacipi...so consider his performance here in August at the Rosebud Fair as a dress rehearsal! He's the dancer with the headdress with green feathers at the very beginning of the clip. (coming in from the left side of the screen)

I also wanted to share this video of the group, Nake Nula Waun, a group who's winning national attention. They recently entertained at SGU Founders Day Family Night and, by all reports, rocked the house!
Their music is all dedicated to the Rosebud Reservation where they all grew up and touches on all the hard life issues of suicide and drugs that have ben a problem on the rez.
