Day 2

What began as a delightfully cool, overcast (dare I say, chilly) morning, with a wonderful breeze and temperatures in the mid 60's only lasted for a few hours.
Then, contrary to what the weather folks predicted, the sun came blazing out and temps soared back to the 90's... the aloe is being passed around even as I write this!

We painted, we built and installed overhead supports for the shed so it can bear the weight of snow in South Dakota blizzards and we 'jacked up' one of the houses being built on the Habitat campus. Settling has started to occur since it's not permanently sited and, before we start on drywall, it had to be shored up... this involved multiple car and industrial jacks and many men crawling beneath the house.

While all of us have spent our time doubled over underneath houses, I can't say I was sorry to sit this one out!

This tickled all of us - the 6'4" guy who drives the Bobcat does it cuddled up with this animal sitting next to him!
You're never too old for transitional objects!

We're sure there's a story there - we certainly had fun coming up with our own versions!

It's been a LONGGG day - but very productive.
